The Muenchner Zwietracht is known as the worlds most popular band playing at the Oktoberfest. They play at the Hippodrom since 1997 and rock the boat every evening. They carry the audience along with their hits such as Moos Hamma (2000), Oh Du lieber Augustin (2006) or our favoured Happy Hippo Song.

The bandmembers are the founder members Wolfgang Köbele and Heinz Fuhrmann and Andi Häckel, Robert Haslinger, Mark Fugmann and Gerry Grass. A formation that demonstrates the "catchy-tune-potential" of its programm not only at the annual performance at the "Wiesn", but also all the year round in Germany, Europe and the rest of the world.

People who could not see the band from Munich at one of their Oktoberfrest performances, will perhaps remember the dazzling participation at the "Grand Prix d´Eurovision".

This public appearance and two other performances at "Grand Prix der Volksmusik" and "Grand Prix der guten Laune" bestowed the band an entry in the Guinness Book of Records: Three Grand-Prix-performances in nine months - World Record!!!

The Munich Oktoberfest – the world's favourite funfair – is Bavaria's main attraction every year.
