
The temple-styled building of the National Collection of Antiques in Munich, across from the Glyptthek, is acting as counterpart since 1848 and shows not only the famous collections of vases from King Ludwig I but also adornments and bronzes. Therewith it contains one of the biggest collections of antiques in Germany for Greece, Etruscan and Roman Art.
Beneath adornments, terra cottas and bronzes you can find one of the internationally most important collections of Greece-Roman ceramic. Also the golden adornments of the Etruscans and the terra cottas are exhibits that show the thrilling variety of the antique artistic art working.
